Empowered and sustained communities are at the heart of our approach to Community Healthcare. N2N intervention in the health sector is mainly focused on Dental Hygiene education, Dental preventive care, and basic treatment.

N2N provides basic hygiene training and education, Dental services to the unprivileged majority in our communities, refugees and IDP’s in and out of the camps who cannot afford constant dental services, treatments, and preventive care. We provide Dental education to schools with teams of local volunteers and visiting experts. We work in partnership with the Directorate of Health and the Dental Associationof Sulaymaniyah.

Dental education and services is an urgent and progressive need in a society where cultural believes are regarded above science, unhealthy feeding habits are not seen as harmful, personal hygiene is not emphasized at home or in educational institutions, quality Dental services cannot be afforded by the financially challenged majority, and Dental care and treatment is considered the final option after a lengthy period of severe pains. The distrust many families towards local Dental services is our prime concern as we work to empower communities with quality Dental education and services. We acknowledged all of our local and international heroes who have made a tremendous impact to the development of our Health sector as an organization.

A sustained and empowered community has to do with the involvement of local experts and community members. We have been privileged to be working with local Dental experts who are dedicated to the service to their communities and the unprivileged majority.
